Audit Trail

The audit trail records every change made to documents and master data, showing who did what and when.

Viewing the Audit Trail

Go to Administration → Audit Trail. Stat cards show Total entries, Created, Edited, and Deleted counts.

Filtering

Filter Options
Search Entity label, type, or performed by
From / To Date range
Category All / Voucher / Master Data
Action All / Created / Edited / Deleted / Restored

Click Search to apply filters; Clear to reset.

Columns

Column Description
Occurred At Date and time of the action
Action Created / Edited / Deleted / Restored
Category Voucher or Master Data
Type Entity type (e.g., SalesInvoice, Party)
Label Entity identifier (e.g., SI-2026-0042)
Performed By User who performed the action
Reason Optional reason recorded at the time

Before / After Snapshots

Click the expand button on any row to view the full before and after state of the record. This shows exactly which fields changed and what the values were.

Exporting

Click Export to download the filtered audit trail as an Excel file.

Notes

  • The audit trail is read-only — entries cannot be edited or deleted by anyone, including administrators.
  • Restore operations (reverting to a previous state) are also logged as their own audit entries.
